This is a residential furnishing project. Our goal is to furnish a brand new house built by Shea Homes to complement the pre-assigned finishes ( wall color, cabinet style and floor finish, etc) within limited time and budget.
The scope of project includes transforming the bare side yard to a garden as well. Considering water conservation and possible drought in the future, we designed a dry garden design with concrete step stones and white marble gravels. Applying Japanese garden design concepts, the small garden is created to provide unique views for the indoor. In stead of placing an outdoor dining set at the 10 x 12 sun room, we built a wider bench and paired it with simple furniture to create a space to rest and a corner to enjoy afternoon tea with friends and family!
Shea Homes builds the Cannery house with all the energy efficient standards. We continues the idea through out the project. From outdoor gardening to indoor appliance selections. We specified to install washlet at the bathrooms. The Toto washlets not only save water but also the usage of the toilet paper!
